Our Practice
A practice built on
careful stewardship
Suphan Counsel was founded to offer something specific: steady, considered legal support for people navigating pension matters — at whatever pace feels right for them.
Back to HomeOur Story
How Suphan Counsel came to be
Suphan Counsel was established in Bangkok by legal professionals who had spent years working within larger firms and observed a consistent gap: people with pension concerns were often told they had reached the wrong department, or were passed between advisers without anyone taking genuine ownership of their situation.
The practice was founded to address that directly. We keep our focus narrow — pension matters, specifically — because doing one thing carefully is more useful than doing many things adequately. Over time, we have built a quiet reputation among clients who value patient, transparent guidance over swift assurances.
Our office in Pathum Wan sits in one of Bangkok's more accessible professional districts, which was a deliberate choice. We wanted to be reachable — by foot, by Skytrain, or by taxi — for clients who prefer to meet in person, as well as readily available by telephone or video call for those further away or less mobile.
We take on a limited number of matters at any one time, so that each client receives the attention their situation deserves. If we are not the right fit, we will say so honestly and, where we can, point you toward a more suitable resource.
Our Mission
"To provide clear, patient legal support for pension matters — leaving every decision with the person whose future it concerns."

How We Work
Standards we hold ourselves to
Thai Bar Association Compliance
All legal work is conducted in accordance with the standards and professional conduct rules set by the Lawyers Council of Thailand.
Strict Confidentiality
Client information is held securely and disclosed only as required by law or with explicit client consent. We do not discuss cases outside of authorised contexts.
Transparent Engagement Terms
Before any work begins, we set out in writing what is covered, what is not, and what the fee structure is. Nothing is left to assumption.
Plain-Language Communication
We do not hide behind legal terminology. Every document, letter, and update is explained in language you can understand without needing a dictionary.
Deadline Accountability
Pension proceedings carry specific deadlines. We track these carefully and alert you well in advance, so that no procedural window is missed through oversight.
Data Protection
Personal data submitted to us is handled in line with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). We retain only what is necessary for the matter at hand.
Legal support for pension matters in Thailand
Pension-related proceedings in Thailand involve a range of administrative bodies — including the Social Security Office, the Government Pension Fund, and relevant tribunal bodies — each with their own procedural requirements and deadlines. For many people, this complexity is the primary difficulty: not understanding the system, not knowing whether a decision can be questioned, and not having anyone to ask.
Suphan Counsel exists to address that. We work with individuals who have received pension decisions they do not fully understand, who wish to question an outcome, or who simply want to know what their position is before deciding whether to act. We focus on three clear stages of support: reviewing where things stand, helping to prepare a formal response if needed, and taking on sustained representation when a matter requires it.
Our approach is shaped by the nature of pension matters — they touch on financial security and personal dignity, and they deserve to be handled with care. We work at the pace our clients are comfortable with, communicate clearly at every stage, and charge only for the work we have agreed to do.
